Diary Room: Week Two - London Bridge

[Steve]

So Howard and Arlie are working together. Most likely with Shelli's limited involvement.

Nick, Naeha, Kelsey and Becky are working together.

I've talked to Shelli, Becky and Liz individually enough to where working with them is great because they've each mentioned once or so that they want to go far with me.

Moral of the Story: The game has actually started now and I'm a little behind. i'm not seeking anything out because that would be overplaying on week two, but I'm hoping something comes up sooner rather than later.

Da da da da da, updateeeeeessssssss.

So if any week was going to work with me and Howard working together, it would be this week. To recap, Shelli came to me and said Howard and Arlie approached her to work with them, liz becky, me and possibly libra. She also mentioned not to say anything, because it was just chatter.

So I didn't listen because listening is for wimps.

When talking with Howard more about music, I realized that I had an opportunity to talk to him about working together. We got along, he was hoh, it's perfect. So I brought it up with him and he was immediately on board, he asked if i wanted it to be a two person thing or an "empire". Knowing he already talked to someone about working with a group, it'd be stupid of me to say "hey let's be a two person thing". So we talked about possible people. He threw in becky and liz, i said yes to liz but eh to becky (because a minute later we're talking about shelli and arlie. I mention them because that's who he wanted to work with in the beginning, and i threw in Cassandra to make it a LITTLE less obvious. So basically, he's gonna talk to the people. It's originally his idea, and from his perspective, I'm probably just going to him and giving him the team he wants to work with on a silver platter, but me undermining him before he gets a chance to do it on his own will help me in the final 2, I believe. Especially if he's on jury or standing next to me. It looks like he's still taking charge of the group, which is good, that's what I want. 

Since he SHOULDN'T know that Shelli told me about his group, he might think he just won the jackpot with me approaching him with the group he wants to work with, but in reality, this is more me saving my ass down the road. And him being "in charge" of it, only makes it easier for me. Now I just have to make it seem like it was me talking to howard and him agreeing to it more than me knowing about it beforehand and capitalizing on it.

Okay. First of all, with Shelli adding you to our alliance (I'm not gonna lie, I didn't really think we had an alliance until she said that we did. but hey, that's cool), that was more her idea. I don't quite think any of you would care enough to see what goes on there when there's a bigger group chat where everything already happens. If I'm mistaken, let me know, but that's just how i'm seeing it. I don't want to spam everyone with every tiny little group I'm in, I don't think the conversations I have there are that interesting xD

JAMES IS LOSING HIS SHIT AND I LOVE IT. I've begged Liz to make a giant group chat so we can all witness it but she won't. that's rude. I want to watch this. I secretly hope he loses BOTB so he flips out even more. In my first ever ORG (RnF 8) there was a guy named Caleb who straight up went mental a few weeks in, and I loved it. So I'm hoping James goes postal, mostly because everyone already has a "wtf he doesn't talk much to anyone" mentality on him.

The working name for the Steve/Liz/Shelli/Arlie/Howard alliance is The Prodigious Nerdy Fucknuts. We'll probably come up with something better later... Most likely not though.

This may mean absolutely nothing to the people who weren't there for AS2 but Becky reminds me so much of Heather and Howard reminds me so much of Keith (both of those are a compliment btw)

James really wants to work together with me (he also messaged like four other people to work together so i mean i guess i'm not special).

Me and Howard are drunk right now and he's giving me fitness tips. No joke is coming, it's just an update. I've been working out recently, and he's throwing in some extra tips.

You know what. fuck it. I am drunk right now, and i know ill regret this tomorrow, but lemme throw up an updated diary room on everyone right now. why not?

OKAY RNF 14 CAST FUCKING ASSESSMENTS 

I'll start with the alliances first and foremost.

STEVE'S ANGELS - These angels are beauties and wonderful people and they all deserve big hugs. 
THE PRODIGIOUS NERDY FUCKNUTS - I also like this group, although they do fall second place to the Angels
Steve + Becky = Final Two. Period.
Steve + Howard = It's not a final two or anything, but i wanna work with him as long as i possibly can, if that makes sense.
Steve + Shelli = We get along and we're cool, but I don't see her past Final Three unless I feel like I can beat her in the finale. 


Alright for actualy cast who's first. I'lll just look to the left of what i'm typing.

ARLIE - (i'm not bolding their names because it seems too hard). The dude is cool. I still have no real clue where he stands. He has ties to Howard, but i'm not sure what else. Top 5. 

BECKY - I really do like her. She still gives me Heather vibes and I can't shake it, but again that's not a bad thing. Heather was awesome, both in RnF8 and AS2, and both times I sort of underestimated her. So me and Becky have seemed to click. and I like it. Maybe it's one sided and she's using me while also having some final 2 with liz and shelli and everyone else in the house, but in games like these, you need someone to put all of your trust in to keep you from going mad, she's this person for me.

CASSANDRA - She was cool. We talk less and less now. She's paired with Sam, who i know i'd keep her of the two, but i don't see much for us until after sam leaves.

HOWARD - Howard is my bromance. 'Nuff Said. We call each other Ebony and Ivory.

PLANK - Okay so this bitch wants to work with me. I feel really bad because i heard that it's his first org and from someone who it's only his THIRD org, I don't wanna discourage. but dude this kid needs to work a little bit on his conversational skills. Like- I WANT to work with him, but not even seriously. It'd just be to throw up appearances that i attempted to work with a group and failed. Because I know any week he's not HOH he'll be nominated. and he can get as upset as he wants to, if he tried to have conversations with people that went beyond Nm HBU, i feel he'd be in a much better place. 

KATHY - Okay. I understand she's funny, and that at best, I'm the male version of her. But that's exactly why we don't click. I don't need someone pushing to have conversations with me when it's clear she talks to everyone else, meanwhile while i'm pushing conversations on people while i talk to everyone else. I just can't do it.

KELSEY - She's still cool. She's in an alliance that I'm not a part of, which makes me go eh. but she's still cool.

LIBRA - One of those people where i know she wouldn't nom me now, but once jury hit, i'd be one of her first targets.

LIZ - Liz is bae. She's super smart and clearly got her own thing going on, but she's bae.

NAEHA - She needs to go. Mostly because i really wanna win this season and her being her won't help me.

NICK - See Libra Above.

RAMSEY - GTFO

SAM - GTFO

SHELLI - Also Bae. her and Liz are tied in my thought process. 

STEVE - Of the remaining houseguests, i'm easily in the top 15 of favorite HG. It's just that simple.



On a real note, I kinda want to talk to Kat, Nicole and James. (I'm very stupid when it comes to a computer so idk how to tag you. I'm sorry lol. I mourn for you on the day i win hoh and have to deal with all the keys). I've noticed most groups i get into, you all get tagged into being a part of. Is that something you all want? I ask that because it's clear to me that the groups you get invited to, things only happen once every like... 4 days, the rest is just nonsense. I don't want to spam you guys into getting notifications if it's shit that you're incredibly interested to know. There's a group chat with Me/Howard/Arlie/Liz/Becky. The name has shifted from The Empire to Slash to The Prodigious Nerdy Fucknuts and it's mostly just garbage, will be until something important game wise happens, if you want me to add you all to that, let me know and I will. I won't otherwise, just because you have 15 people to look after, and I find it incredibly self absorbed to think you want to hear every little thing that's going on with every little group i'm in.

Also just a small little thank you to the random people who are reading all of this (especially this post. go outside, have a life). I've probably had more fun this season than in my previous two, so thank you for weirdly checking in on me like a concerned parent. it's weird but gratifying.

I'll close out the week two diary room with saying that i'm talking to kelsey right now, and I'm basically talking to her about how i don't have conversations really except for light ones and i feel nervous for hoh. Because I know she's working with Naeha, and Naeha feels that about me, I'm trying to play into that a little bit. Kelsey keeps saying she's feeling the same way and feels alone in the house, and that she wouldn't mind either of us winning hoh.

I feel like she thinks she has a hold on me? Not in some master manipulator sort of way, but i think she sees me as a talkative funny wildcard kind of person who could be her ace in the hole if she ever needed it. So the smartest thing for me to do is to just go along with it. Best case scenario, she talks about this conversation to her alliance of Becky Nick and Naeha, just because i think it would get them to look at me for a moment before continuing on, but it's also a good scenario if she doesn't. There runs the risk of Becky having told the group about either mine and howard's group or the four person alliance we have, and that's why i didn't press on her if she was alone in the game, because if i'm not willing to give out that info, i shouldn't expect her to.

Week Two has been a success, but also london bridge is falling down, and i'm just kind of dodging pieces of the bridge that's crashing to the ground right now.
