Hey, Joshuah! Welcome to BB: Rise & Fall 14! Please answer these questions when you get the chance. Thank you for applying and we hope you have a great time.
1. Did you enter the game with a set strategy? If so, (how) has it changed now that the game has officially begun and you've probably met some of the cast?
2. What kind of player would you consider yourself? (The hero, the villain, the socialite, the competitor, well-rounded, etc...?)
3. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
4. What are your pet peeves in people? Are there any kind of players that just really grind your gears? Would you target them automatically or try to work past these differences?
5. Have you communicated with anyone yet? Who has made good first impressions? Who has made bad impressions?
6. (Why) do you think you have what it takes to win Big Brother: Rise & Fall 14?
7. Anything else you'd like to add before your journey for the victory begins?
Keep an eye out for this thread, because Staff may periodically pop in to ask questions or converse with you. Thank you and we wish you the best of luck this season!

1. Did you enter the game with a set strategy? If so, (how) has it changed now that the game has officially begun and you've probably met some of the cast?
I didn't really enter the game with a set strategy. I guess, I always try to enter games with the goal of laying fairly low in the beginning, and kind of flying under the radar for as long as possible, while I build meaningful connections in the game. So, I guess that could technically be considered a set strategy...but once a game starts, I try and adapt my game play based on how I feel things are going to go, so usually how I set out to play, isn't how I usually end up playing.
2. What kind of player would you consider yourself? (The hero, the villain, the socialite, the competitor, well-rounded, etc...?)
I'm usually type-cast as a villain, because I'm a very opinionated person, and have trouble keeping things under tight lips, when I'm annoyed or pissed at someone. But, I am a fairly social person and try and build good relationships with as many people as possible, and I usually perform fairly well in challenges. So, take that as you will, I guess it could be classified as well rounded?
3. What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
My strengths would include being able to hold conversations with all kinds of people. Also, being able to feign interest in what people have to say, when really I couldn't even care what they are saying. I'm also a very determined player, perform well in challenges, and am a fighter when my back tends to be against the wall. As far as weaknesses, my mouth usually gets me in trouble. And, I'd have to say my biggest weakness is my work schedule. During the week, I'm usually not around for around 12 hours (5am-5pm). And, then due to working so early in the morning, I tend not to stay up late on nights that I have to work the next day. So, sometimes I can miss out on important conversations and events, but I try my best to not let my work schedule hinder my game, although sometimes it's just impossible to avoid.
4. What are your pet peeves in people? Are there any kind of players that just really grind your gears? Would you target them automatically or try to work past these differences?
I can't stand arrogant people. I also can't stand people who try and be a character, rather than be themselves. Like, I really don't want to deal with people who play as some over the top person, because it's completely irritating. I don't necessarily target them right out of the gun, but they are usually more than likely to be on my radar than people who just be themselves.
5. Have you communicated with anyone yet? Who has made good first impressions? Who has made bad impressions?
I've had some conversations with a good majority of the cast, and I'll say that I don't think anyone has really rubbed me the wrong way or made a bad first impression toward me yet. As far as people I like the most so far and enjoy talking to, I'd have to say that Libra, Cassandra, and Shelly would be at the top of the list.
6. (Why) do you think you have what it takes to win Big Brother: Rise & Fall 14?
I'm going to be honest here, and not set my bar exceptionally high. I have played in several Big Brother games throughout my 14 year ORG career. Only one time, have I ever made it to the late stages of the game (final five). I've made quite a few early juries, but Big Brother games have always been more of a challenge and an enigma to me. So, I'd say as of right now, my first goal is to just not be the first person evicted, and if that goal is surpassed, my next goal would be to make the jury stage. If, I made the jury stage, my next goal would be to navigate myself to the Final Five. And, if I made it there, I'd try and figure out how to achieve the one thing that's been elusive to my ORG career, a Final 2/Win in a Big Brother game. I don't want to put the cart before the horse here.
7. Anything else you'd like to add before your journey for the victory begins?
I'd just like to take the time to thank all of you for selecting me to play in this season. I know there must have been something in my application that stuck out to you, and made you think I'd be a great addition to this season. So, I really hope I don't disappoint whomever and whatever expectations people have of me in this game.
