I'm very happy I made Jury and I do think the people remaining are the most deserving!








That being said...

What is taking people so long to do this Connect Four HOH? Are you trying to stall so you can become experts? I stayed up last night to do it since Kelsey clearly said when she would be here and then stupid Cass left right before, then doesn't bother to mention until this morning she's at work until 7pm. I think she's stalling! Oh well, gives me more time to practice when I can today but, tbh I expect Kathy or Liz to win this. We shall see! 

I should give a news update, I guess: 

• Steve wants to concentrate more on "Steve's Angels" now.
• Steve would like Arlie gone from SLASH first - thinks he's too selfish. I would like Arlie to stick around over Steve or Howard. 
• Kathy told Becky (who then told Liz) that she is a bit wary/sketched by Liz.
• Liz is considering back-dooring Kathy if she wins HOH this round. (see above)
• Steve is up Liz's ass and asked her to rank who she trusts 1-10 in the house - hoping to get Steve's list from her even though I'm sure he put Liz as #1.
• Steve apologized to me for how he handled HOH and vows to talk more but is failing and I trust him less and less.
• Kelsey is upset about last round still - thinks Steve wanted her gone so wants him out.
• Kathy wants boys up this round - no surprise there but she didn't mention which boys. Howard's name doesn't really come out of anyone's mouth as a target. 
• Cass/Kathy/Becky/Liz formed an alliance the other night after Libra's eviction, which I already knew about. 
• According to Liz, Kathy is Cass's closest ally, which is probably true. 
• Liz told me she's aligned with "everyone in the house" which I believe but I didn't really think she was aligned with James. Plus he put her up against Naeha in the HOH but maybe that was a strategy?
• Naeha is off the radar of anyone who could potentially win HOH as far as I know. Still trying to keep her close/get closer to her. 
• Kelsey is not happy about being put up in the HOH by Liz. 
• James may be back in my plans for the future - if he stays this round, I might just need to try to rope him back in, if possible. 
• Cass is my achilles heel - she sucks as far as comps (besides endurance of course), but obviously she could win HOH again, you never know! Still, I just can't bring myself to try any harder than she's trying with me. She annoys the hell out of me! I think she feels safe enough with her fake alliance that she feels she doesn't have to talk to me. I believe Kathy is on her side but Becky/Liz, not as much. Plus, Kelsey and I know about the alliance, too. 

I almost labeled this "Breaking News from Liz" since really I got a lot of this info from her. I love her and I love her updates, but I do think I need to be looking for ways to separate her from other people she's super close to - I think Becky/Steve/Howard, maybe in that order? She probably wants to keep Cass around til the end so she can beat her. If she went to the end right now, she would win, hands down. 

I want to break Liz/Steve up the most. If Kathy won and got rid of Steve, I wouldn't cry about it. If Liz wins, I don't really want to lose Kathy. I agreed with her and want her to think of me as willing to do whatever she wants. If there's an opportunity to subvert the "get Kathy out" mission, I will try but thinking of who would be better to get out for me, that is still high on Liz's target list! Maybe Naeha? Maybe she'll want to take James away from Steve? 

Liz and I talked about Becky being someone we trust. Becky is someone I feel on the same page with about a lot but I know she's closer with Liz. I'd like to be tighter with her so if Liz gets taken out somehow, I'm there for her!

Getting ahead of myself since this HOH is still far from determined, I know. Just thinking about possible options. At this point though, everything is sunshine and rainbows!

Anyway, Cass is definitely going up and I was thinking of James as well. I think Liz will push for a Kathy BD and Kelsey/Kathy are pushing for a Steve nom. We'll see what happens. James is a little scary since he's proven pretty good at comps but he's really the only one I'm not officially aligned with so, yeah. Unless I take a shot at Naeha up front, which I don't really want to do, then that's probably it. If I put James up, I'd want him out, though.

Okay just a quick rundown. And remember I've had wine. But anyway, I had a pretty good talk with Becky and she agreed Steve annoys her but it's not time to take a shot at him yet. I was really trying to get her to open up more game-talk wise. And she did. So I feel pretty good about that. We talked about posting more in the "Steve's Angels" chat and we intiated a little bit tonight. 

Then Becky went to bed and Steve started talking game to me. Imagine that when I'm HOH! He suggested noms of either Kathy or James since I already told him Cass was going up. Then he said he would start the vote talk in SLASH. But when he did, he pushed Kathy and didn't really talk about James so I posted that he had suggested James, then told him on the side something like "oh sorry, I thought you brought up James in the SLASH chat." Whatever, he's so transparent. 

Anyway, thinking about the smart thing to do to get a target of mine out and also piss off the fewest people possible. Kathy/Kelsey may be upset if I don't put up Steve. Naeha mentioned Steve to me, too. But if I put up Cass and James and one of them wins veto I am thinking I would probably put up Naeha to appease the boys and because she's the least of my connections outside of SLASH, Steve's Angels, and ESPN. I doubt Naeha would save Cass or James. If she did I could have trouble but I'l cross that bridge when I come to it. 

The main thing is to keep up appearances that I'm doing what's best for all alliances (for the most part) and have an option if veto is used. I think with this plan the only two I would possibly have a problem with are Kelsey/Kathy, who really want Steve up, but I think I can smooth that over and keep trust because I have a reason for Cass and James. If I have to make a re-nom then I'll go from there. 

As far as Liz wanting Kathy out, well that could be an issue too but I think I could sell the Naeha plan with her and say let the boys go after Kathy if it comes down to it. My basic goal this week is to get out a threat, keep as much peace as possible, and be as safe as I can be going into next week.

James > Naeha > Kathy

Oh and Cass. I will talk to her tomorrow and try to come to some kind of truce if I can. If not, then maybe she's my target but I only have so much say so when it comes down to a vote.

Also, Howard expressed some frustration with Liz for her vote last round. He said he appreciated that I was upfront from the beginning but that Liz seemed on board with Naeha and then changed her mind. I sensed some distrust so that makes me a little more comfortable with Howard atm. Could be a ploy but idk if he would go to that trouble about her to me?

I just talked to Cass. I was honestly thinking she would say she understands why I'm putting her up and take the olive branch of me saying "I hope she doesn't go" and that "we can build from there." Yes, it's all bullshit. If she stays then yes, I hope we build a bond where she doesn't put me up again if she wins HOH.

She is trying to push me to put up two boys because of the Naeha vs Libra vote. Sorry, girl. In what world does she think I would not put her up on the block after she wanted me gone during her HOH? And now she's saying she nominated me so we could work on our relationship. Okay. That's why we haven't talked since she put me up. Partly my fault but I did IM her last with no response since then. I guess it all ended okay, though. I had to say the decision was already made and she's not my target and we made a deal to talk to each other if we have questions. Okay, done lol. Bottom line, I don't believe her and she sure as hell should not believe me.

I still have to talk to James - it's going to be harder since he was HOH twice and did not put me up. I will just have to tell him he's not my target either and go from there. But I already planted the seed last night when he asked me and said I like him but he stopped talking game to me so I am a bit nervous about it. If he gets off the block I'll just have to tell him that was what I was hoping for all along and that I just didn't want it to leak out like how his plans to backdoor Naeha and her plans to backdoor him leaked out. 

Last night Liz told me that if it was James vs Cass she'd want to vote out Cass to weaken Kathy. I'm a bit on the fence about that because James definitely has the ability to win HOH and put me up - which he would! But it all depends on veto, too....I can also see the benefits in taking a shot at the girls under the guise that I wanted the person who came after me gone. I would probably just act like it was out of revenge but it wouldn't be. So, the sides look like this right now and I put an X next to my two biggest targets on each side.

I put Becky in the middle because she knows about the boys thing Liz, Steve and I are in and I do want to pull her in more so she'll share more with me. The only thing she doesn't know about is ESPN at this point and there is no way I'm taking a shot at ESPN right now. She can also be grouped with the girls' side too, and that's way too many girls - so it would make sense to take a girl out over a boy. I don't care about the gender here, it's just how it's split. If Liz, Steve, Howard and Arlie want Kathy out, they're free to win HOH and do it themselves, then I'll be happy to vote her out.

LOL Cassandra getting HG choice and picking Naeha...she's in an alliance with Kathy, Becky and Liz so .... she's obviously with Naeha as well. Damn, this sucks if Naeha wins and take Cass off. I'll just tell her if she does that, Kelsey's going up. Uhhh maybe I shouldn't do that lol. idk but that would be really bad because I'd kinda be forced to take a shot at someone - either Kathy or Howard! Ugh

So, going to bed soon and I've only had a quick PM with Liz, since she's busy tonight. I kind of think she's not using the POV but I'm actually open to either voting out James or Cass - I can justify either. James because he's more likely to win HOH and put me up - even though he apologized and says he wouldn't. I kinda wanna believe him but he's so black & white so idk. I can also see getting Cass out because she makes the "girls" stronger and also she picked Naeha for veto and that surprised me. So, that's a vote for "that side." I would also be willing to BD Naeha if Liz uses it. So, we'll see!

I'm really glad Liz won. I was nervous that Naeha would win and take Cass off, then I'd have to put up Kathy or Howard and either one would make me look sketchy in some eyes this week. So, yeah. If it is used, Naeha is going up. At least I won't have to take a shot at either ESPN or SLASH....yet.

Also, I was really mad that my paint program froze and I went over and lost that veto but I think it's actually good that I lost and Liz won. If I had won, I think the boys would've tried to pressure me to use it and put up Kathy, I think.

Between y'all and me.... I would like to take out Howard because he's the one I talk least to. He talks to me when it's in his interest and otherwise, he doesn't. I also think he's very close with Liz, although he did say a few things about her to me which I will keep in my pocket until I need them, I guess. He said he wasn't happy that she wasn't upfront about wanting Libra out til the last minute last round. Idk, I still think they are tight and he's so strong in comps and the biggest mystery.

I'm so mad right now. I knew liz wanted Kathy out and the fact this "just became an idea" makes me mad. It's such BS. Apparently Becky said Kathy's the boss (to liz not me) and when I asked of who liz said Naeha/Cass. First of all, who gives a fuck about Cass? Second, it damages my relationship with Kelsey to take a shot at Kathy so, No. Just No. I am livid actually. Liz is behind everything and trying to manipulate me and I'm getting fed-up. Maybe I should just take out her precious Howard!

While I wait for "Ika's moment of truth..." I was venting earlier. I'm glad I was at work because I had time to think about things and be calm before getting home and getting on AIM. I have to vent in here - imagine that since it's the DR!

But anyway, I just hate this when people are trying to get me to do something for their own agenda. Liz keeps bringing up how Kathy is going after her as to why I should take her out. I get it, but that just makes me kinda her bitch lol. Like, this is MY HOH and I want someone out who is a threat to ME. Kathy could very well be a threat to me but I have this stubborn streak that is pushing against this just because Liz wants it so bad! It makes me not positive that I'm thinking clearly here. If I really wanted to take someone out how who I connect with the least combined with who's a huge threat, it would be Howard. He never talks to me...but then we're in an alliance together. lol

Anyway, I told Liz I'd rather do Naeha than Kathy because at least we could cover better with Kelsey (and Kathy since she would stay) but I guess they probably would still just think I'm with the boys if I did that, anyway. Sigh! Big sigh!

I just need to weigh out the least damaging but I feel like a big pushover if I do something just because someone else wants me to. On the other hand, I don't want to be stupid and just go rogue and then just leave next week!
