So deciding to vote out Becky, and convincing Howard to do it, was really a move of necessity for me. If we voted to keep Becky, it would've been 3-3, and Shelli would've gotten rid of Becky anyway, and even if she didn't, it would've turned the game right back into the girls vs the guys. Where now the line is a little blurred still since Kelsey basically hit a reset button.
Cass promised not to nominate me if she wins hoh, and kathy promised the same, and I don't feel Kelsey would do it unless I'm already at the bottom of her pole. So the best chance I have is to throw the next hoh. I could win it, but either i'd be putting up people like Shelli and James, and making unneeded enemies, or making enemies with Kathy and Kelsey and Cass and James and Shelli and all of them right after i started to mend fences.
I changed my vote on Becky, then went to go do errands and hit the gym. Figuring i'd have time to talk to her when i got back. Oops. Guess not. I'm kinda embracing and taking pride in my total lack of jury management skills (telling everybody that Becky called me a bitch, then immediately bracing it and making a small game out of it), but I gotta look like a great person to take if I can't win my way to the end, but I'm also fairly confident I could spin a "I didn't play a perfect game by any means whatsoever, but I played the game I needed to play week to week" strategy if I got down to the end.
I think this vote put me in an okay standing with the house. Me and Howard taking out Becky I feel, has pulled down the walls from the other side and is letting more conversations and game talks happen then if after all that happened, we immediately went back to firing against Cass/Kathy/Kelsey. Now 100% If one of them don't win hoh, i want them put up. It doesn't make sense for me to win this round, but if it's staring at me in the face, I'll take it and just cause more drama in the house. Why not?
Also, i know Becky and Arlie were close, and the fact that they refused to acknowledge it was sketchy, like they thought it could be kept secret? Or if they flat out just didn't trust that info with me. Regardless, I saw Libra was getting close to Howard, so I put her up. I saw Becky was closer to Arlie, so she needed to go. There's no use in me teaming up with someone if they have an ace in the hole. This move, while pissing off Becky, has put me in a better position this week than I have been for a few weeks now. Kelsey opened more up to me, Kathy was happy that she "got me" to come around and not keep becky. Cass was happy to be safe obviously. Arlie's probably annoyed, and James is probably still in the house somewhere, but me and Howard are still smooth as far as I can see.
Now it's time to sit back, wait for hoh, and see what happens.
